Billy Ray Cyrus Has Disappointing Performance
Billy Ray Cyrus was asked to perform at the Liberty Ball. This was a part of Donald Trump’s inauguration. He was elected into office on January 20, 2025. However, during Cyrus’s performance, things went wrong. He was first singing “Old Town Road”. However, he began to mumble the words and no one could hear or understand him. There was no backing track. Then, when he tried to play “Achy Breaky Heart”, his guitar stopped working. Billy kept asking the crowd to help him sing. Fans were not impressed with how he handled the situation. However, he has now spoken out on the issue.
He Speaks Out On The Poor Performance
Fans were dying to hear what Cyrus had to say after his performance. Well, it seems he is blaming it all on technical difficulties.
I wouldn’t have missed the honor of playing this event whether my microphone, guitar and monitors worked or not. I was there because President Donald J. Trump invited me. I had a ball at the Liberty Ball last night and I’ve learned through all these years when the producer says “you’re on,” you go entertain the folks even if the equipment goes to hell. I was there for the people and we had a blast. That’s called rock n roll!!!
He does not seem to be too bothered by his performance. However, fans were not impressed whatsoever. He tried to do the same thing Carrie Underwood did. However, fans do not feel like he came close to comparing to Carrie and her acapella performance.
