Kid Rock just stormed off of the stage after an explicit, swear-ridden tangent. The music superstar does not back down and this was one of those times when he did not get what he wanted. Kid Rock Storms Off Stage After Explicit Tangent
Fans of Kid Rock know to expect the unexpected when it comes to the hitmaker. He loves to do and say the most outlandish things yet he is an amazing performer. Rock has had such hits as “Bawitdaba” and “Picture” with Sheryl Crow. Yet, for the last several years, he has become much more conservative and somewhat intolerant. That is reflected in how he behaves at shows but onlookers could never have anticipated what went down at JBJ’s in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend.
Rock was there for a very special event. It was Bon Jovi keyboard player, David Bryan’s birthday. Therefore, they were having a huge bash to celebrate him and Rock was supposed to be in on the fun. However, according to Whiskey Riff, things did not go as planned. Rock and David Bryan took the stage to perform “Proud Mary” which should have been a treat for the crowd. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned and Rock was not happy with them at all. He paused the music while performing and shouted:
No, f*ck them. Fu*k them. Hey, hey, stop, stop. If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna work.
It seems that the crowd did not listen to Kid Rock’s demands because he proceeded to become even more fired up. Though he tried to show them how to clap and what he wanted done, they did not oblige and he was done:
You know what? F*ck y’all. You ain’t gonna clap? I’m gone.
Rock exited and was done with the show. This is not something new for him as he has gone off on explicit tangents. However, the rhyme and reason for this one is baffling.

After seeing the video of Kid Rock’s meltdown on TikTok, followers were blown away by his behavior. They immediately bashed him, his performance, and his behavior:
- Want a waaburger and some French cries? How bout a Whineiken? 🤣
- Bruh, Kid Rock himself couldn’t even clap on beat and he was by far the worst sounding person on that stage.
- Totally misses the point of why people aren’t clapping 😳
- Not his birthday and honestly it wasn’t clap worthy. I mean Kid Rock was missing the mark on several of his own 👏🏽
Many noted that his performance was far from good and did not even warrant clapping. So, to get all heated was completely wrong.
