Lauren Alaina has decided to pay tribute to her late father, J.J. Suddeth, in a very special way. He passed away in 2024 and it broke her to pieces but now, she is doing something incredible for him. So, what has Lauren opted to do in honor of J.J.? Keep reading for more details.
Lauren Alaina Paying Tribute To Late Father In Very Special Way
This has been a big year for Lauren Alaina. She announced a new single, “Those Kind Of Women.” Then, just days before it was set to release, she shared it was coming out early with a very special message. Lauren and her husband, Cam Arnold were expecting their first baby. She hid her pregnancy until she was almost halfway through it. More so, she filmed a clip of her mother hearing her new single while they sat next to each other. There was no suspicion of a bump whatsoever and then she broke the good news.
Lauren and Cam followed it up with a gender reveal featuring their pets and it showed they were having a girl. This has elated Lauren and her fans knowing she is having a mini-me. Despite being pregnant, Lauren is embarking on a tour over the next few months. She is ready to make the most out of her time before the baby arrives but she is doing something amazing as she prepares to hit the road. According to Country Music Family, the American Idol runner-up has opted to pay tribute to her late father in the most magical way.

Lauren is learning how to play the guitar all over again in honor of J.J. which is so beautiful. She shared a clip of herself with her guitar and the caption:
Why I decided to play this guitar on stage again… I know Daddy is playing right along with me with the best seat in the house 🤍
Lauren has shared that her father always played the banjo and guitar which he wanted to teach her how to play. Unfortunately, she claims she did not have the patience to do so.
A Passing Moment
Lauren Alaina explained that, after her father passed away, she and her brother were cleaning out his home. That was when they each took a guitar and she promised she was going to start playing again. She has since kept that promise and fans have loved watching her:
