A country singer is opening up about battling incurable cancer while still in the process of growing up. Life is hard enough being young, but the spotlight just amplifies it. Country Singer Talks Incurable Cancer Battle
Having a cancer diagonisis is a bitter pill to swallow at any age. No one wants to feel like they have been handed a death sentence, especially at a very young age. Some people are extremely optimistic and are ready to kick cancer’s tail, no matter what they have to do. At the same time, others are told the worst possibel news. That they are stage four or that their prognosis is that what they have is incurable. Such was the case for a country singer who learned of their diagnosis at a very young age.
Nat Myers, an acclaimed blues and country musician, is just thirty-five. However, he has been battling cancer for around a year. It was in February 2025 that Nat shared he had cancer and then closed out the year with a complete recap. He explained how he had been tested, told he would never be mobile again, watched his life flash before his eyes. Moreover, he was constantly told he was getting ready to die, whether it be months, weeks, or even days. Nat has defied the odds and he is still here, kicking down the walls, and is not giving up.

To be so young, yet struggling so much, is not something anyone would expect. However, Nat has a smile in his social media post, despite hospitalized and hooked up to machines. Along with his cancer, he also lost his father in 2025. None of this has been easy but the country performer is grateful for what he has and the people he has met along the way. All of this has propelled him to want to keep going as far as he can, until 2066.
