Then, there is Megan Moroney, whom he was also linked to. They were spotted at the same locations, but again, they just claimed they were good friends.
Finally, Megan Moroney is breaking her silence and is sharing that something did go on between the two country superstars. She was asked about her single, “Who Hurt You?” which many believed may be about Riley. Megan stated that it was clear who the single was about and a simple Google search would answer any and all questions:
In ‘Who Hurt You,’ I made it so obvious who it’s about that it was, like, you could Google it, and that was the point of ‘Who Hurt You.’ In the past I got frustrated with people. I was trying to hint at things, and then people would be like, ‘Who is it about?’ And I was like, ‘You know what? I’m just gonna lay it out there. I might as well put his first and last name in it.’ Songwriting is fun, and it’s not meant to be taken so seriously.
Riley Green has, in his own way, responded, as he seems to know he hurt her. He knows that he did not handle the relationship or whatever they had properly. Fortunately, like Taylor Swift, Megan was able to make something beautiful out of her heartbreak.
