Carrie Underwood has been unveiling her love for rock and roll. She has her own SiriusXM channel where she plays a lot of rock favorites. More so, she recently had big moments performing with rock and roll icons like Axl Rose. However, her favorite workout song right now is one that her fans might be shocked to hear.

Here is what Carrie Underwood has been working out to lately and why it isn’t likely anything her fans might have expected.

Carrie Underwood works out to Falling in Reverse

Carrie Underwood has made her love of rock and roll common knowledge. She even performs rock songs at her concerts. At one concert in recent memory, she brought out Axl Rose to sing some Guns ‘N Roses with her. However, when talking about her workout music, she said her favorite song right now is by a band called Falling in Reverse.

Now, Falling in Reverse is nothing like Guns ‘N Roses. While GNR is a classic metal band with a familiar sound that most rock and country fans both love, Falling in Reverse is a very hardcore metal band. With four albums out, the band has seen great success, with all four hitting no lower than 34 on the Billboard 200 chart and all racing the top five on the US Rock charts.

However, the band is mostly known as Metalcore with a bit of rap metal mixed in. That is what Carrie Underwood’s workout song sounds like. The song is called “Watch The World Burn” and it has lead singer Ronnie Radke rapping just as much as he is screaming in the song’s three-minute running time.

What makes the song special for Carrie Underwood?

Carrie Underwood was on her SiriusXM channel, CARR-DIO, and she was talking about her workout music. She said that the best way to get going in a workout is through music. She said that it is important to find the right music and just have a good time with it. For Carrie, that song right now is “Watch the World Burn” by Falling in Reverse.

“It switches gears a lot, and it’s kind of an epic song,” Carrie said. “Whenever you get a song that is just epic — like, it’s long and visual and switching cadence — I always think that’s cool. So that one gets me going.”

Now, this might not be a recommendation for Carrie Underwood fans, as the song is extremely heavy and the music video might be a bit harsh for people’s tastes. However, here is the song that gets Carrie going during her workouts.

Falling in Reverse was formed in 2008 with vocalist Ronnie Radke as the lead singer. Another song that fans might be more familiar with is the 2022 release “Zombiefied.” AEW superstar Saraya (Paige from WWE) uses the song for her entrance theme. Saraya and Radke are dating.
