- Blake Shelton Reveals Three Essentials He Needs To Perform - November 19, 2024
With 2024 in full swing, Blake Shelton is getting a head start on his goals in a big way. From the looks of it, he is tackling more than just one issue now that the page has turned to a brand-new chapter. So, what is he doing to get things going in the right direction?
Blake Shelton Starting The New Year Strong
With all the hard work Blake Shelton has put in to get to where he is in life, no one would blame him for taking it easy, drinking beer, eating steaks, and living the all-around good life. He has certainly earned it, and has indeed paid his dues. However, if you look at how many irons Blake Shelton has in the fire, he is doing anything but living a life of leisure.
Even though Blake Shelton retired from The Voice as a judge, all it did was free up more time for him to focus on his other passion projects, on top of still performing. If all of that were not enough, he is even starting 2024 off right with a number of new resolutions.
Blake Shelton Kicking Bad Habits To The Curb?
As is expected at the start of a new year, this is a time to set new goals and dream big in terms of how you want the rest of the year to play out. In Blake Shelton’s case, he is doing that, and then some.
Initially, his goal was to cut back on alcohol. Or, better yet, quit drinking altogether. That alone would be a worthy goal, and something to strive for. In Blake’s case, he didn’t stop there. In addition to trying to get better in regard to his drinking habits, he decided to do a similar overhaul of his eating habits as well.
While he doesn’t seem to have any intention of becoming a full-fledged gym bro, Blake has been putting in the work to lose his gut, eat healthier, and exercise more.
Healthier Lifestyle Choices Not So Easy For Country Star
As anyone who has tried to lose weight knows, it’s a process that doesn’t happen overnight. As for Blake, the 47-year-old won’t be on the cover of Men’s Health magazine showcasing ripped abs overnight either.
According to an insider close to the situation Shelton swapping fried foods and steaks for fish and vegetables hasn’t been all sunshine and daisies. Apparently, the former The Voice judge gets “grumpy” when he doesn’t get the food he wants. On top of that, his lofty goals have proven to be a “nightmare” since trying to implement changes.
Of course, his wife, Gwen Stefani, has never had a problem keeping her toned figure. If Blake sticks with his current plan, he will no doubt see results. At the same time, his fans can’t necessarily blame him for wanting a burger over a salad. If nothing else, it’ll be interesting to see if he sticks to it.
