Miranda Lambert Has Been Through A Lot
When it comes to Miranda Lambert’s dating history, she has certainly been through her share of love and heartbreak. As country fans know, relationships turning sour is a hallmark of the genre. So, if nothing else, Lambert has given herself plenty to write about over the years.
When it comes to the guys Miranda Lambert has been interested in, she certainly has a thing for musicians. Of course, she had high-profile relationships with fellow country star Blake Shelton, R&B artist Anderson East, and Evan Felker from Turnpike Troubadours.
Lambert Found New Love With Current Husband Brendan McLoughlin
As much as an endless string of heartbreak would supply someone with an infinite amount of songwriting material, from the looks of it, Miranda Lambert found a good egg when she crossed paths with her current husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
After her series of musician flames, Lambert went for someone completely different when she fell for her current spouse. McLoughlin is a cop from Staten Island. It turns out, McLoughlin was working security during one of Lambert’s Good Morning America appearances.
Of course, it’s always interesting when celebrities fall for regular civilians with everyday jobs. That said, her hubby seems to be exactly what Miranda Lambert needed, a change of pace from her usual type.
Miranda Lambert Dishes On What Makes Her Marriage Work
In many ways, the lifestyle differences between Lambert and her hubby seem to be one of the contributing things that surprisingly make their marriage work. According to Lambert, there are other reasons why things work so well between her and her husband.
One thing that Lambert acknowledges is that her husband’s “New York” personality plays a big role in their dynamic. Even though she is the one with celebrity status in their relationship, Brendan calls her out and isn’t afraid to give her the “harsh reality” when she needs it.
The way she sees it, everyone needs a “truth-teller” in their lives. Luckily, she found that with her man, and, five years into their marriage, things seem to be working well for these two.
Between her mother being her biggest hype man, and her husband not being afraid to tell it like it is, Lambert has a great support system around her, and it seems to be working wonders.
