Country music star Carrie Underwood has been in the public eye for years. Meaning, fans have pretty good knowledge of what she looks like and her evolution. In a new picture posted on social media, though, people have been quick to point out that she might have had some work done.
Does Carrie Underwood Look Different Lately?
Recently, Carrie showed pictures of a fishing trip she went on with her husband Mike Fisher.
She simply meant to show off her catch of the day. However, fans instantly did a double take at her appearance instead.
In the comments section of the IG post, people were quick to share their opinions and most believe that she’s had some kind of work done, whether it be teeth whitening or plastic surgery on her face. Here are a few of the comments:
- “Is it just me, or is Carrie not looking like Carrie lately?”
- “So much surgery here and new teeth maybe????”
- “This does not look like Carrie Underwood.”
Underwood hasn’t responded to any of the plastic surgery questioners from underneath the post just yet.
Carrie Underwood’s Questionable Fall
This isn’t the first time that Carrie has been hit with allegations that she’s gotten some cosmetic work done.
Back in 2018, she suffered a major fall that resulted in having to get multiple stitches around her mouth.

Underwood doubled down that it was a genuine slip, but there was a theory going around that the singer fell as a way to cover up plastic surgery that she’d supposedly done.
She did address the rumors and deny that it was a planned fall, but her comments didn’t stop some people from still believing the theory.
“The truth is just as interesting I wish I’d gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this look better,” she said at the time.
What Is Carrie Underwood Working On?
Amidst all of the plastic surgery rumors, it’s clear that Carrie isn’t going to let them get in the way of making strides in her career.
She recently released a new song with fellow country music artist Cody Johnson called “I’m Gonna Love You”. The duet has already reached the number-one spot on iTunes.
Underwood is currently doing her Las Vegas residency, which is going to continue into the new year.
It’s also important to note that she’s gearing up for her highly-anticipated return to American Idol. Carrie has graduated from being a contestant and will now be a judge in Season 23, serving as Katy Perry’s replacement.
