Darius Rucker Fall On Stage
Darius Rucker released his most recent country album in 2023. While he’s working on new music, he hit the road with Hootie & The Blowfish for a summer tour. The tour included 90s acts Collective Soul and Edwin McCain.
The tour stopped in Charleston, South Carolina, over the weekend. Everything was going great until Darius Rucker toppled over on stage in the middle of belting out his 2009 solo single “Alright.” He quickly jumped to his feet and joked, “I’m old as f-ck.”

The video of the incident was posted on TikTok. Several fans thought the fall was more than just being old. There were multiple comments wondering about the singer’s sobriety.

Darius Rucker has been open about his past substance abuse issues. He was arrested in February 2024 during a traffic stop. He was caught with several illegal substances on him. The singer recently pleaded no contest to the charges. The singer was sentenced to a year of probation.
