Jelly Roll has achieved one of his biggest dreams as he has his first number-one album, Beautifully Broken. The album was released on Friday, October 11th and Jelly did all that he could to get it to the top. Now, the numbers are out and it has topped the charts. Keep reading for all of the details.
Jelly Roll Achieves Dream With First #1 Album
Fans have been rocking Jelly Roll for quite some time now and Whitsitt Chapel spawned some of his biggest hits. They included “Need A Favor,” “Save Me,” and “Halfway To Hell” which are still in rotation. He garnered two Grammy nominations and a plethora of awards for his amazing artistry that touched so many across the globe. His songs have been a saving grace for those who have felt lost so he was thrilled to launch his biggest tour in 2024. The Beautifully Broken Tour had fans waiting in queues just to get a chance to see him live.
Yet, they were also awaiting his next studio album which he teased with songs like “Liar” and “I Am Not Okay.” Finally, Jelly shared Beautifully Broken would be released on October 11th, 2024. He wanted to make it his first number one single. So, he added an incentive by donating all of the pre-sale proceeds to mental health charities. Jelly was on a mission to get to the top of the charts and nothing was going to stop him. He appeared on the Season 50 premiere of SNL and more. The numbers are in and Jelly’s dream has come true.

According to Billboard, Beautifully Broken has topped the charts for the week ending October 17th. It is estimated he sold 161,000 units and his singles have also left their mark on the charts. This was all that he had wanted and he prayed for this to happen. Initially, Jelly was unsure if “Liar” would make it onto the album despite the love it garnered. He ultimately made it one of the first singles.
