Country superstar Keith Urban is gushing over the huge success of the Concert for Carolina show that was performed this past weekend. The concert was organized by Luke Combs and Eric Church. The goal was to raise tons of money for all the North Carolina residents suffering from Hurricane Helene’s destruction. What did Keith have to say about the experience? Keep reading to find out more.
Keith Urban Brags On Concert For Carolina’s Success
Country singer Keith Urban teamed up with Eric Church and Luke Combs along with many others to support North Carolina after Hurricane Helene ripped through cities and destroyed many people’s lives.
Along with those three superstars, James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings, Scotty McCreery and Chase Rice joined the charity concert.
Keith went to Facebook to brag about the show and the funds they were able to raise to support these devastated parts of North Carolina.
In his post, Keith said,
when Eric or Luke call I say yes !! A huge shoutout to Luke Combs, Eric Church, and everyone involved in making Concert For Carolina a phenomenal success . Over $24.5 million raised (and counting !!) 💪
Nic and I also wanna thank all the crew / volunteers and everyone behind the scenes who worked so hard to bring of all of that to life last night – and of course all of you in attendance and everyone who watched the livestream!”
Keith spent the night performing to help others with his dedicated wife Nicole Kidman by his side. In fact, it was his 57th birthday on October 26 which is when the concert took place.
Fans went to the comments to share their appreciation for Keith and all the other performers for this incredible charity event.
Along with all the proceeds raised because of those performing, country legend Dolly Parton donated $1 million as well.
The Concert Was Well Received
Country music fans love that these incredible artists joined forces to try and help those in North Carolina who have lost everything. They are accepting donations of food as well as cash donations. In fact, those who still wish to donate can do so on the Concert for Carolina website.
The country artists hope to still bring in more money for the cause.
Residents of these hard-hit areas are grateful for the support they are receiving. These performers all did an amazing job and fans can’t quit raving.
