Her boyfriend, Chase Stokes, has also had a hard time with this as he feels as though Dibs is also his dog. Fans have been sending positive vibes their way. Kelsea Ballerini Breaks Down At MSG
Kelsea was performing at Madison Square Garden last night. During her song “Penthouse” she broke down in tears. There is a line where she talks about wanting a house where she can have a backyard for her dog. So, when the line came up, the crowd screamed “and a backyard for Dibs”. This immediately made Kelsea break down. She asked the crowd to sing the next chorus for her. They sang it, and it was so loud. Kelsea looked around the arena and cried as fans sang this song. Kelsea’s EP about her divorce was something she did not expect to be as big as it is. She wrote it mainly for herself. However, fans have related to her songs, and they have helped people get through difficult times. Just like last night allowed her to be vulnerable about a tough situation.
