Billy Ray Cyrus has stepped out amid his son, Trace Cyrus’ cries for help. He desperately wants his dad to get better as he feels something is seriously off. Billy Ray Cyrus Steps Out Amid Son’s Cries For Help
It has been a rough time for Billy Ray Cyrus as he was married to Firerose for just seven months. Then, he filed for an annulment, citing fraud and other awful things in the marriage. They appeared so happy after his three-decade marriage to Tish Cyrus officially fell apart. She had filed for divorce three times in the time they were together so their having problems was nothing new. Yet, him finding love with someone thirty years his junior so fast after they split was hard on everyone, especially his children.
Billy Ray has been estranged from his daughter, Miley Cyrus and most of his kids have stayed close to Tish. When he and Firerose ended their marriage, it looked like reconciliation could be a possibility. Sadly, Billy Ray performed at the inaugural Liberty Ball on January 20th, 2025 and it was not good. His fans and his family were concerned with the condition he was in and feared he was drinking or something more. Billy’s son, Trace reached out and offered help, being sober himself but he allegedly threatened legal action.

Now, for the first time since the ball and the drama with Trace, Billy Ray stepped out to support the Nashville Humane Association’s Unleashed Dinner with Your Dog. According to People, the event was held on Saturday, February 1st, and he was billed as a celebrity special guest. Emmylou Harris was also in attendance and Billy Ray thanked them as he rescued his pups from there:

Shocking Fans
After how off and disheveled Billy Ray Cyrus appeared at the Liberty Ball, fans were shocked to see how he had cleaned up. They saw a more positive side of the country singer and were impressed with the turnaround:

Some felt that his son, Trace just wanted attention and that was why he reached out to his dad to get help. However, many of Billy Ray’s fans were concerned for him. Now, they seem to have backed off. Hopefully, this is the start of a better chapter.
