Country songs are often made out of trauma and heartbreak, especially infidelity. Sadly, one of the biggest superstars in the business was unfaithful and nearly shattered their marriage. Now, his wife is spilling all of the tea, but what does she have to say? Keep reading for all of the details.
A Serious Affair
Cheating is never something that anyone wants or expects in a relationship, and moreover, in a marriage. They hope that their partner will be faithful and possibly look but not touch. Unfortunately, approximately 20% to 25% partners cheat in a marriage, and that is a sad fact. To think that one fourth of every marriage will be touched by an affair is heartbreaking. Now, the wife of a country superstar is being thoroughly transparent about how her husband cheated on her, and it shattered her heart.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have been married for nearly a decade. They raise his daughter, Bailee Ann, full-time from a previous relationship and have partial custody of his son, Noah. Furthermore, they are extremely supportive of each other’s endeavors. Unfortunately, there was a time when he crushed her heart by cheating on the podcaster and author. She is breaking it all down in her forthcoming tell-all, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.”
Although they have talked about him being unfaithful, this is the first time that Bunnie Xo has put it all on the line. She noted that they were raised quite differently, but did not learn how to love in the right way. Jelly Roll was raised in Antioch, Tennessee, whereas Bunnie grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Of the infidelity, she shared this:
I’m so happy for people who have never had to go through anything traumatic in their relationships. But I just feel like my husband and I had to go through that because it’s part of our testimony. It’s a part of what we’ve survived — we choose to be together every day.
The Path They Are On
What Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have been through is most definitely a journey, and it is a path that they are on. Again, they have chosen this life and to stick together throughout all of the madness. She added that, even though this was a heartbreaking chapter, she was still in love with Jelly Roll. Despite how sad it was, it does not define who they are, and there is so much more to their romance. She sat by his side when he won his third Grammy award on February 1st, 2026. Moreover, she is his fierce defender, no matter what he does.
