Riley Green just sang his heart out at the American Music Awards and will be heading out on a summer tour. Yet, before he can do that, he has some allegations to tend to. He has been called out for stealing a song from another artist. Moreover, when the artist’s wife said something, Riley supposedly blocked her. Keep reading for more details on what went down.

Riley Green Has A New Single

On May 28th, Riley Green debuted a new single, “Think As You Drunk.” Of course, fans were thrilled for any new music from Riley, who just performed “Worst Way” on the American Music Awards. Ella Langley’s possible beau always brings the house down, but this time, there was some drama. As great as his new single was and is, another artist’s wife believed he had stolen the lyrics from her husband.

Paige Filmore heard the song and felt it was far too close to home. Her husband is Tyler Filmore, aka FILMORE. He had a single, “Drunk I Am,” which came out in 2022, and Paige believes that Riley ripped him off. Therefore, she commented, but was supposedly blocked, so she left another comment elsewhere:

  •  Not Riley green stealing my husband’s song then blocking me when I commented.

FILMORE fans were shocked and completely sided with Paige. They could not believe Riley would do such a thing. However, others thought that Paige was reaching and had no backing for what she was saying:

  • They aren’t that similar lets chill out a bit. 😂
  • Oh honey, they’re not even close to be “stolen”
  • This has to be a joke, right? 😂This slogan has been around over 20 years.

It was almost comical, but she is very serious about pursuing this, or at least getting fans to believe Riley ripped off FILMORE. At this point, she likely won’t get anywhere, and with good reason. Finally, Riley Green probably did not block her, but rather his social media people did.

Is His Song A Banger?

After Riley Green’s new song came out, were the fans obsessed? Was it the new hit for summer? It was enough for Paige Filmore to jump on the train. Fans immediately weighed in on their thoughts:

  • People gonna be quoting this song when asked how drunk they are and getting in mounds of trouble.
  • This is a hit song.
  • Awesome! Reminds me of my younger day. Im old enough to remember all those 90’s drinkin songs, and this one fits right it!
