Post Malone has long been a fan favorite as he has seamlessly crossed musical genres and inspires audiences. Yet, he recently sparked concern during a performance with concertgoers comparing him to Amy Winehouse. So, what was so disturbing? Keep reading for more details.
Post Malone Has Sparked Immense Concern
Fans have long loved Post Malone and the way that he connects with the music as well as the audience. He always has inspiring words of wisdom to share, plus he has gone from pop and hip hop to country fame. There has been some backlash regarding his tour with Jelly Roll, but that has not gotten him down whatsoever. However, Posty has caused some concern based on a recent performance, with onlookers comparing him to the late Amy Winehouse.
He is known to be a drinker as well as a smoker, as seen in his interviews. Yet, that has never been an issue for fans, although Posty has tried to lead a cleaner life since 2022. Then, on May 31st, 2026, he performed at Panama Beach, Florida. Per videos from that night, he struggled to light his cigarette and was slumped all over the stage. He proceeded to stay on the stage, barefoot, and appeared disoriented. Apparently, he had fallen at other shows, and fans were worried about him, with one saying this:

It was a scary sight for many who were either there or saw the clip, as they were visibly concerned that something was not right. Amy passed away over a decade ago from accidental alcohol poisoning. They did not want this to be Post Malone’s fate, as well:

Of course, there were a handful of fans who fiercely defended Post Malone and felt that he was giving the audience a show. He is a performer, and this was all part of him doing what they paid to see him do:
