Miranda Lambert is one of the most successful country performers out there. Yet, she is admittedly “terrified” of one technological takeover in the music industry. How will she combat that? Keep reading for more details.
Miranda Lambert Attempts To Evolve
The music industry is constantly evolving, and performers have to do their best to keep up. They have to roll with the times, or they could lose fans to the next best thing. Miranda Lambert has been able to keep her listeners happy and satisfied for the last two decades. She has been belting tunes and even combated scrutiny for not allowing concertgoers to take selfies at her shows. However, she is admittedly very scared of the next chapter in music, which has taken over most creative outlets.
The forty-two-year-old was asked how she feels regarding AI and Suno. Now, Suno is an AI music-making app that artists have started to utilize in songwriting:
It is terrifying.
That was the first response that came out of Miranda’s mouth, which is great to hear. Of course, many artists are standing up to artificial intelligence in music. Moreover, they are making it clear that they write their own songs and do not have assistance from any outlets. However, it is not something that Miranda Lambert is completely ruling out:
I don’t know what to think about it. I need to learn more about it. I know that it can be an amazing tool. I don’t know how to use it.

Finally, she shared that she did not even understand what ChatGPT was. Miranda thought people were saying “Chad”:
I thought people were saying ‘Chad’ forever. And I was like, ‘who’s Chad? And I was like, oh, they’re talking about ChatGPT.’ I didn’t even know.
