Country Music artist, Chris Lane and his Bachelor wife, Lauren Bushnell are gearing up for the arrival of their first child together. Lauren has no problems showing off her ever-growing baby bump and pregnancy glow on her Instagram. Meanwhile, Chris’s social media has been a healthy mix of music and baby. In a recent interview, Chris Lane shares that Lauren Bushnell shoots his baby name suggestion down. Keep reading to find out more.
Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell make plans for baby
Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell wed in October of 2019. Now they are expecting a baby boy in June 2021. The couple only has a few short weeks to prepare for parenthood. Interestingly, it seems that the couple may disagree when it comes to naming their son. Taste of Country reports that in a recent interview, Chris Lane shares that she “shut him down quickly.” Apparently, the name Chris suggests is on the premise of “cool.”
However, it doesn’t seem like Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell are struggling to come up with a name for their son. Chris tells Audacy’s Katie & Company that they “have a good idea of what it’s gonna be, but we haven’t for sure settled on it yet.” Keep reading to find out which name Lauren shoots down.

What name did they disagree on?
When it comes to Chris’s selection of the name for his baby boy, he explains that he was trying to keep it “lighthearted”. However, that’s not to say that there isn’t some truth to his name recommendation of Rambo. “She shot it down hard. I said imagine when he comes up to bat and they say ‘Rambo Lane,’ that sounds like he’s about to drop a bomb!” shares Chris as he advocates for his baby name choice. In good humor, he continues, “Rambo Lane, like how is he not going to win the tournament, you know?”
Unfortunately, Taste of Country does not report on the name the couple hasn’t settled on yet.
