Leslie was a huge Dolly fan and even recalled a time when he took the leap to try to find her. He then shared his reaction upon meeting his idol: “I couldn’t even breathe. I went over there and she was all dolled up for a Christmas special that she did. And we sat there and even though we were masked and socially distant, we just glommed on to one another.” Yet, Dolly was not the only one who is sending out a tribute. “Thank you for bringing us all so much joy, Leslie. We will meet again on that beautiful shore,” TJ Osborne shared.

Finally, Brandi Carlisle put it best: “Well s—. Someone had to say it 💔” The tributes continue coming in every day as people struggle to find the words.
What’s Next?
As of now, Call Me Kat is on hiatus so that the cast can properly mourn the loss of Leslie Jordan. Mayim Bialik who plays Kat has asked for privacy for the cast during this difficult time. There will be a tribute to him in the upcoming episode though it is hard to fathom a world without Leslie in it. He has two books as well as his album which are all available. His work on Will & Grace is streamed on Hulu and Call Me Kat can be seen Thursdays on FOX.
Sending love to his family, friends, and who knew and loved him.
