Miranda Lambert has been under fire from fans for calling out a group of girls taking selfies at a recent concert. She got upset with them and actually stopped the show. Now, Miranda is saying “Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies” after reading a fan’s shirt in the audience. Taste of Country shared about what went down at a recent concert.
Miranda Upset Fans With Recent Reaction
Miranda Lambert did upset a lot of her fans by calling out the girls for taking a selfie at her concert recently. LL Cool J even spoke out and said that she should “Get over it.” Miranda actually said that it was “p*ssign her off” and then went on to say “We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country d*mn music.” The girls were obviously upset and some people even left the concert.

Miranda Lambert never put out a statement about what went down, but instead, she just went on posting on Instagram like nothing happened. This isn’t the first time Miranda has stopped a concert, though, that is for sure. Another video recently resurfaced of Miranda stopping a show to use a knife to pop a beach ball that was being thrown around at her concert. She made sure to tell everyone they were not at the beach.
Miranda Says “Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies”
At a recent concert, Miranda read off a fan’s shirt in the audience, which said “Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies.” The fan actually gave Miranda a small bottle of what you can assume was tequila and she took the shot. The girl was wearing a shirt that said, “Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies” and as Miranda Lambert read it off she made sure to point out that the girl was saying it and not her. Miranda seemed to be having a good time and laughed taking the shot. It is great to see them making light of the situation that upset a lot of people recently. It looks like Miranda knows how to have a good time with her fans at her concerts as well.
