The Voice fans seem to clearly adore coach Gwen Stefani but they say that she recently fell short. What do they mean by that and what did she do to warrant such criticism? Is it about her team or something else? Read on for more details on the situation.

The Voice Fans Adore Gwen Stefani But Say She Fell Short

Season 24 of The Voice has not been the easiest one for Gwen Stefani. This is the first year she is doing it without her husband, Blake Shelton, by her side. He left after twenty-three seasons with the hit reality singing competition. It made sense as he had been there since its inception and had other projects he wanted to focus on. He has movies, Barmageddon, and a new restaurant in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, viewers feel that Gwen’s team selection has not been the best. Still, there are plenty who appreciate what she brings to the show as a coach.

Unfortunately, Gwen recently did something that had fans thinking she was falling a bit short. According to The Sun, Stefani took to the stage to belt out her tune, “True Babe.” She did this on the live show which aired Tuesday, December 5th on NBC. However, viewers watching believed that the former No Doubt frontwoman was actually lip-synching rather than performing live. This put a bad taste in many Gwen fans’ mouths and for good reason. They immediately took to Twitter/X to express their feelings.

Yet, others felt the song was performed really poorly with some feeling they could not even understand what she was saying. More so, fans also did not even like the song she sang and they let that be known.

Can She Make It?

When Gwen Stefani cut her team down from six to three, The Voice fans were utterly confused. They could not understand the logic behind the three she saved. Now, after the first week of the live shows, Team Gwen has just one person left standing. This will be a long shot but hopefully, there are enough people out there who do like Tennessee’s very own Bias enough to give the team a chance.

Did you notice that Gwen’s performance was a little off? Moreover, did you think she was lip-synching or did you just not care for the sing choice? Let us know and watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
