Tom Nitti Shares His Gratitude For ‘The Voice’ After Leaving

Brief History Of Tom Nitti

Tom is a 31-year-old aspiring singer from New Hartford, NY. He starred as a contestant on Season 24 of the popular TV series, The Voice. He was adopted onto Team Reba after swooning her with his blind audition singing “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” by Stevie Wonders. Nitti was able to make it to the knockout rounds but unfortunately had to back out suddenly for personal reasons.

Tom Nitti Leaves The Voice

On November 28, 2023, Tom made a lengthy post on his Instagram, with a heartwarming video attached. In the post, there are various images in a slideshow of his kids, partner, and loved ones with Cody Johnson’s, “Leather” playing over it. In the caption, he makes a formal statement as to why he is leaving. Here is a shortened summary of the caption, as it is lengthy and shares individual thanks to his fellow contestants, judges, and friends:

“…As much as it absolutely stings to say, I had to make probably one of the hardest yet easiest decisions ever and ultimately at the end of the day, my kids will always come first and if I had to make the same decision again I’d do it over and over… This isn’t the end of me and I’ll… move forward playing music and raising/creating new memories with a family I will continue to grow… For everyone asking, I’m alright and still standing… Im more than ready to continue to live life now happier than ever before.”

Leading up to his entry in The Voice, Nitti was caught up in a messy divorce. During his time on stage, he had received an email from his lawyer urging him to come home, as his ex-wife was chasing after primary custody.

Although Tom has already showered praise for the team members of The Voice as well as his supporters and family, he is back once again to share his thanks. Nitti posted a video on Instagram of him performing “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson. In the caption, he writes:

“Thank you everyone for the support. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. I walked the road of my dream for a bit and loved every minute of it. I’m also quite certain I’m where in need to be right now. I ain’t ever giving up on this dream and my two kids know that. Tom has left the public with a bittersweet story. Chasing dreams may give someone the life they desire, but it is not worth losing loved ones to get there.
