Jason Aldean is giving back. After a polarizing year for the country music star, he is ending 2023 on a high note with a new collaboration with the charity Music Gives.
Here is a look at what Jason is doing and how you can join him in this endeavor.
Jason Aldean giving back to the kids
Jason Aldean has stepped up and is collaborating with MusicGives.org to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. To do so, he is promoting a new shirt that reads “This Shirt Saves Lives.” More so, he showed off a photo of himself wearing the shirt on his Instagram. In the post, Jason said that he is “proud” to wear the shirt and “support the kids” at St. Jude.

He then posted a link where fans can buy a shirt to help support St. Jude through MusicGives.org. Jason Aldean isn’t the only country music star teaming with the organization for this charity either. Also working with Music Gives are Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson.
Other major stars working with the charity are Luis Fonsi, Cece Winans, Jack Johnson, and Jordan Davis. The shirt that Jason was wearing was just one of two designs for anyone who wants to help. The deal asks fans to choose a donation level, and as long as it is $19 or more, they get the shirt. St. Jude helps make sure that families whose children are suffering from childhood cancer never have to pay a bill.
Jason Aldean currently touring into 2024
While Jason Aldean endured some harsh fan reactions thanks to his music video for “Try That in a Small Town,” it didn’t affect his popularity with his built-in fan base. He remains in demand and has extended his tour into 2024. Joining him are stars including Lauren Alaina, Hailey Whitters, Chase Matthew, Austin Snell, and Dee Jay Silver. This is his Highway Desperado Tour and is in support of his album Highway Desperado, which he released on November 3. The album has so far reached 19th on the Billboard 200 chart and sixth on the U.S. Top Country Albums chart.
Jason’s last number-one album came in 2021 with Macon (on the U.S. Indie charts). This followed a very successful 2010s, where he had four straight albums hit number one on the Billboard 200 and six straight hit number one on the Billboard Country charts. However, the controversy worked out well for Aldean, as “Try That in a Small Town” hit number one on the U.S. singles charts and U.S. country singles charts.
