Maren Morris has been making waves in the music industry since she released her debut studio album in 2005. It was called Walk On. The Arlington, Texas native was just 15 when her debut album came out. And, with so many years as a country music star under her belt, she has certainly amassed the bank account to match. And, recently, her surprising net worth came to light.
Maren Morris Has Been Making Waves (And Cash) For Years
At the ripe age of 33, Maren Morris is a seasoned veteran of the country music industry. It has been nearly two decades since her debut record came out. And, she has garnered quite the following within that time. In addition, to date, she also has a Grammy Award, an American Music Award, and five Academy of Country Music Awards to her name.
Along with her country roots, Morris’ musical style also incorporates elements of pop and R&B. This is something that certainly resonates with her many devoted fans. With a lengthy career full of success, many of her fans might wonder how much that success translates to. Particularly in terms of dollars. And recently, court documents showed her impressive monthly income.
Maren Morris Takes Home How Much Per Month?
Based on recent court documents obtained by Radar Online, Maren Morris takes home a whopping $210k a month in earnings. This is not too shabby. Especially when you consider that her monthly take-home pay is several times more than average Americans make in an entire calendar year.
As many aspiring country artists do, Morris relocated from Texas to Nashville to cut her teeth as a songwriter and performer. And, judging by that $210k she gets to deposit every month, that risk she took years ago has more than paid off.
Maren Morris Monthly Income Revealed as Part of Divorce Deal
The My Church singer’s income was made public as part of a divorce settlement with Morris’ now-ex, Ryan Hurd. The pair were married from 2018 to 2023. Along with that, they share one son. According to the recent court ruling, Maren Morris was ordered to pay Hurst $2100 a month as child support for their 3-year-old son. This ruling came through even though they both share joint legal and physical custody.
Of course, this is nowhere near the amount of money that Kelly Clarkson was ordered to shell out when she found herself in a similar situation. The original American Idol parted with nearly $200k per month. But, at least in this situation between Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, the pair seem to be going about the divorce proceedings amicably.
And, even though they couldn’t agree on much to make their marriage work, they seem to both be doing what’s best for the 3-year-old boy they share, Hayes Andrew Hurd.
