Along with being country megastars, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan are also proud dads. In a recent interview, they traded some fatherly advice, with no shortage of parenting gems. So, what did both men have to say about the challenges of being dads?
Jason Aldean And Luke Bryan Are Proud Dads
When Jason Aldean isn’t busy heading tours and writing hit records, proud father is also on his list of accomplishments. In total, Aldean shares two children with his current wife, Brittany Kerr Aldean. He also has two children from his previous marriage. So, it’s safe to say that the father of four knows a thing or two about being a father.
On the other side of that same coin, Luke Bryan is no stranger to fatherhood, either. Bryan has two children with his wife. In addition, he also cares for two nieces and a nephew. So, both of these men are authority figures on the subject of fatherhood, as well as top-notch musicians and experts in their craft.
Bryan And Aldean Recently Shared Fatherly Advice
Of course, family is a core theme in the country music industry. So, it’s no surprise that many artists like Bryan and Aldean practice what they sing about in their everyday lives. Recently, both hitmakers talked about fatherhood, sharing various tips and tricks that work for them.
The way Aldean sees it, “you’re a product of your environment”. In his mind, it’s all about leading “by example”. That starts in the home, and with parenting.
As for Luke Bryan, he went on to say that it all starts with “the father in the home”. And, much like his buddy Aldean, Luke Bryan strongly believes in setting a good example. Sometimes, this even includes telling your children not to do something that they’ve seen you do.
Country Hitmakers Lead By Example
As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. Indeed, when it comes to parenting, fatherhood, and being positive role models for their children, both Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan walk the walk and practice what they preach.
Bryan believes in positive reinforcement, as well as being “stern” when necessary. However, Bryan also said that he sees his boys contending with things that he never even dreamed of when he was growing up. So, another thing he instills is that it’s perfectly okay to cut yourself some slack when you need it.
Either way, both Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan’s extended families have positive role models with these men as the heads of their respective households. As Aldean notes, when he is home, it’s all about giving his family his “undivided attention,” something that certainly seems to be making all the difference.
