Luke Bryan recently concluded his Las Vegas Residency run. This is something he has been working on since the start of his 48-show gig in 2022. Recently, the country star shared a clip covering one of his favorite Elvis Presley classics. So, how did he do?
Luke Bryan Has Been Keeping Busy In Sin City
With countless chart-toppers under his belt over the years, Luke Bryan is indeed at the top of his game as an artist. Whether it’s sitting in as a judge on American Idol, or playing his own shows, there’s no denying that Luke Bryan gets audiences in seats. Along with his hit songs, he has the type of charisma that keeps fans coming back.
Of course, there are numerous metrics to measure success. Topping the charts is one way. Still, it’s something else entirely when you score your very own Las Vegas Residency. This is exactly what Luke Bryan did. From February 11 2022 until his last show on January 6 2024, Bryan played 48 shows, an impressive feat indeed.

Over the course of Luke Bryan’s 48-show Las Vegas run, he made sure to play all of his hits. With him playing as many as 18 songs each show, his fans certainly got their money’s worth, as they got to see him perform many of his chart-toppers at the 5,000-capacity Resorts World.
With a smaller capacity, that also meant a more intimate setting than what you would get on an arena or stadium tour. On top of that, fans were in for a treat during Luke Bryan’s closing show on January 6.
To conclude his residency, and as part of his final show, Luke Bryan covered the Elvis classic The Wonder Of You.
The Wonder Of You Near And Dear To Bryan
Elvis Presley had a number-one hit in the UK and a top-10 hit in the United States when he released a live version of the song in February 1970. Interestingly, the King recorded his version in Las Vegas. So, it was fitting indeed for Bryan to pay tribute and perform his version of the song to close out his Las Vegas stint.
Even more fitting, Bryan shared a clip of him performing the song on Elvis Presley’s birthday, January 8. According to Bryan, it’s a song he listened to “over and over” as a kid. In this case, there was no better way to pay tribute to Elvis. Not only did he acknowledge Elvis on his birthday, but, he also did a fantastic job singing the song.
