Country music star Carrie Underwood has been singing the Sunday Night Football song for the last 11 years. Underwood has won Grammy’s, sold millions of albums, and has performed thousands of times. With that, Underwood became the voice of Sunday Night Football, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce seems to be in connection with Carrie Underwood.
Travis Kelce Has Been The Talk Of The Country
Since July, Travis Kelce has had a relationship with pop singer Taylor Swift. Taylor is one of the biggest stars in the world right now. Swifties have been obsessing over their relationship ever since it became public. In July, Travis announced on his podcast that he tried to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number on it after her second show that took place at Arrowhead Stadium. Since then, the two have been publicly infatuated with each other and fans are here for it.

Carrie Underwood And Travis Kelce
Underwood has been performing the Sunday Night Football song for the past 11 years. She has had to record countless team combinations. Travis Kelce even thanked Carrie Underwood for getting him ready for games. According to American Songwriter, Kelce admitted she helps him get into the right mindset,
“When we go in to record, we do it all at once. I do the whole main version, but then we go through and pick up all the matchups for each week of regular-season football, and then we go into playoff football. And I then sing every possible combination of teams that could possibly maybe play each other.”
Carrie also feels as though some of the boys who play have been listening to her wondering what it would be like to play football and have that song.
“I think my favorite is when … it kind of dawns on me that it’s like, before these guys were playing in Sunday Night Football games, they were watching Sunday Night Football. It would’ve been the equivalent of me watching awards shows or people performing on TV, just being like, ‘Oh my gosh, if I could only do that.’ … And I’ve been [recording the theme for] 11 years, so some of these guys were younger, watching these football games, just thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, if I could be on Sunday Night Football.’ And then, when they get there, I’m a little part of their journey, which is really cool.”
