Tamron Hall Visits Miranda Lambert’s Vegas Residency
Miranda Lambert was a recent guest on The Tamron Hall Show. Or rather, Tamron Hall was a recent guest of Miranda Lambert. The daytime talk show host stopped backstage at the singer’s Vegas residency during a recent road trip through Las Vegas.
The “Kerosene” singer kicked off her “Velvet Rodeo” residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in September 2022.
The residency wrapped up in December 2023 but will return for more dates in a few months. Carrie Underwood was among the famous guests attending one of Miranda Lambert’s shows.
During the interview for The Tamron Hall Show, Miranda spoke about her family, career, and the future.
The singer opened up about her mom’s battle with breast cancer. Her mother has been cancer-free for a year.
She also shared why her marriage works.
Miranda Lambert Reflects On Turning 40
Miranda Lambert turned 40 in late 2023. The singer has been performing since she was a teenager. Her first big break came on the reality show Nashville Star. She came in third place but still managed to land a record deal.
Miranda released her debut album, Kerosene, in 2005.
At one point in the interview, Tamron Hall asked the singer about the freedom that comes with turning 40. Miranda Lambert shared that many of her friends have said 40 is the “best decade.”
The singer shared that she’s “more open now to whatever’s supposed to come” her way now that she’s 40.
She said she’s accomplished so many of her personal and professional goals. “I can be a little more free,” she said about turning 40 (via Whiskey Riff.)
Is New Music Coming Soon?
In March 2023, Miranda Lambert made one of the biggest changes of her career. She announced she was leaving Sony, the label she’d been with since the start of her career in 2005.
She formed her own record label imprint with Jon Randall, her longtime collaborator.
Miranda hinted to Tamron Hall that she will release new music this year. If fans are lucky, it might include a song with Lainey Wilson.
