Garth Brooks Mourns Deeply Heartbreaking Death

The post revealed that the singer’s longtime publicist, Nancy Seltzer, had passed away. The news came with little detail except that the publicist, 79, died in Los Angeles, California, after a brief hospital stay.
Instead of focusing on the heartbreaking details, the post focused on Nancy Seltzer’s legacy. Garth Brooks was far from her only famous client. She ran Nancy Seltzer & Associates, which had offices on the East and West coasts. During her long career, the publicist represented some of the most famous faces, including Julia Roberts, Whitney Houston, and Sean Connery.
In addition to representing clients, she oversaw the red carpet at the Oscars and represented a wide range of films, including A Few Good Men and When Harry Met Sally. Rob Reiner, who directed When Harry Met Sally, was murdered in his home, along with his wife, Michele, in December. The couple’s son was arrested and is facing charges for their murder.

She even turned down opportunities to share stories about her clients after their passing, honoring the sanctity of trust.”

“Public relations is the hardest job in show business,” Garth Brooks said of his longtime publicist and friend. “She always handled every situation with the utmost class.”
