Blake Shelton has recently been seen out drinking with some friends and his wife Gen Stefani was not included in the bunch. This is odd to fans as Blake recently told people he wanted to cut back on drinking or quit altogether. It seems as though this may have gone out the window considering he hosts a game show that revolves around bar games and drinking, and he just opened up a new bar. However, fans are wondering why his wife Gwen is not in attendance.
Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Shut Down Rumors
There were plenty of rumors going around social media that Blake and Gwen were having marriage issues. The two hadn’t been posting each other or spending much time together at all. They even spent New Year’s Eve apart when Blake was performing at a casino between Oklahoma and Texas and Gwen was performing in Las Vegas. However, the two recently shared their love on social media. Blake got Gwen flowers with a cute handwritten note. Along with that, Gwen posted a Polaroid picture of them cuddled up with the caption “Never knew a love like this”. Little did fans know, this was a hint to a new song they would be releasing. They just announced they will be releasing a new song “Purple Irises”.
Blake Out Drinking
Blake posted himself with Carson Daly and Nikki Garcia. The two held up red solo cups while Blake took a selfie of the three on set. Season 2 of their show Barmaggedon just ended, and it seems as though they could already be prepping for Season 3. The caption of the photo was:
“Pour yourself a drink and watch all of #Barmageddon season 2 now at the link in bio!”
While viewers are unsure if there will be a Season 3, it is safe to say it was a fan favorite show and there is no reason for it to go away. While he was on set with his friends, fans are still curious as to why he continues to drink if he wanted to quit. However, after opening his new bar in Las Vegas as well, it could be extremely hard for him to cut back and that want may have gone out the window.

While the two seem to be doing better, fans do have their doubts about the marriage. While Blake is out drinking, Gwen is working on her makeup brand or new music. The two will be spending a lot of time away from each other with their busy schedules this year. However, maybe making music together will bring them closer together.
