Despite all their recent marital troubles, Blake Shelton did manage to do something for his wife, Gwen Stefani, for Valentine’s Day. The “Boys ‘Round Here” singer bought his wife a special gift for the day meant for love. Stefani, unashamedly, showed off his gift to her on the Valentine’s Day episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
That Is One Massive Ring
Blake Shelton bought Gwen Stefani a giant ring. Not just any giant ring though. This massive ring is set with a green emerald.
Jimmy Kimmel asked Gwen Stefani if Shelton picked out the ring himself. “Yeah, he did the whole thing. I love you Blakey!” the pop singer explained. From her reaction, Blake Shelton must have picked out the right ring.
Is Gwen Stefani Sending Mixed Signals?
During the interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Gwen Stefani made a few statements that didn’t ring true. Especially when compared to other things the “Hollaback Girl” singer has said in recent days.
“He really mixed it up. Usually I get amazing flowers, which I love, love, love,” Gwen Stefani told Jimmy Kimmel.
That is not what she said at the Valentine’s Day promotion for her new cosmetic line. She was repeatedly heard saying “girls don’t like flowers” during the event. During the event that Blake Shelton did not attend, despite the fact it was on Valentine’s Day.
Is Blake Shelton Overcompensating For Something?
The ring Blake Shelton gave Gwen Stefani for Valentine’s Day could truly be a gift straight from his heart. However, with all the issues this musical couple have had in their marriage, it is possible Blake Shelton is overcompensating for something or several different things.
Gwen Stefani has been quite vocal about having issues with Blake Shelton’s drinking. Despite this, the “We Can The Stars” singer continues to drink and drink quite heavily at times. Despite Shelton’s promise to his wife, he has yet to quit drinking or even cut back on the amount of alcohol he consumes.
Of course, there is all the time spent apart. It has been reported Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s time together is through texts and phone calls. This isn’t all Shelton’s fault. Even though he is working on his upcoming tour and promoting both his bars and his television show, Stefani is also busy.
