Seeing the rest of the country music world has been weighing on the new country single Beyonce recently released, it was about time to hear from Dolly Parton. Yes, Dolly Parton has an opinion about the infamous rapper releasing a country music single. She also has opinions about Beyonce trying her hand at becoming a country music singer.

Dolly Parton’s Reaction Just One Of Many

Country music stars have had mixed reactions to Beyonce releasing both “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Some country music singers have stated how they like the song and are looking forward to the album being released. Other country stars have commented about how they don’t like it, how it doesn’t belong in country music.

Lainey Wilson was one of the country music superstars who believes the country music world is big enough for Beyonce. John Schneider, a country music star who is best known for his role Bo Duke on “The Dukes of Hazard,” did not agree. He does not think the single should be considered to be country music.

Dolly Parton Weighs In On Beyonce’s Single

Of course, Dolly Parton has an opinion. She has an opinion on just about everything. Like so many other things, Dolly Parton let her voice be heard.

“I’m a big fan of Beyoncé,” Dolly Parton said in a post on Instagram. She went on to say she is “very excited” about Beyonce’s soon-to-be-released album.

“So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single,” Dolly Parton continued. She ended her Instagram post with “Can’t wait to hear the full album.”

Dolly Parton and Beyonce’s Country Music Histories

Beyonce does have a history with country music. Unfortunately, she does not have the best history with country music. Country music superstars have previously shared their disapproval for the rapper.

Travis Tritt was one of those country music superstars aren’t in favor of Beyonce being a part of the country music scene. “We don’t need pop or rap artists to validate us,” he said in an interview after she had attended the 2016 CMA awards.

It was reported Allan Jackson walked out, mid-song, because of Beyonce. Despite that, it is still not clear if that actually happened or not. Since that CMA award show in 2016, only one person has claimed to have seen the “Don’t Rock The Jukebox” singer leave.
