Jason & Brittany Aldean Celebrate Wedding Anniversary
Jason Aldean and American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr married in 2015, three years after they were caught canoodling in public. The country singer was married at the time but divorced his wife to marry Brittany.
The couple have since welcomed two children and also co-parent the two children he had with his first wife.
The “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer took to social media last week to give his wife a special shoutout on their anniversary. He shared photos from their relationship, including their wedding day.
“Happy Anniversary baby. 9 years and happier than ever. Thank you for being my “shotgun angel” thru this Crazy life we lead. Wouldn’t wanna do it with anybody else,” Jason wrote in the post’s caption.
Jason Aldean Dishes On His Acting Career
In addition to being a talented musician, Jason Aldean dipped his toe into the acting pool. He made his Hollywood debut in the 2013 Western Sweetwater, which also stars Ed Harris, January Jones, Jason Isaacs, Eduardo Noriega, and Stephen Root. The film is available to stream for free on Tubi.
Jason Aldean recently appeared on the Taste of Country Nights radio show. He answered questions from fans, including one about his acting career. The singer revealed that he has been offered “quite a few things” since his 2013 film debut.
However, he hasn’t accepted any new roles, and he might not. “I don’t really know how much I liked it. Ya know? It’s hard to say because I only did the one movie,” he explained. He added that his true love remains music.
“What I do know is first and foremost, I’m a musician. I’m not an actor. Ya know? I don’t pretend to be. I like to stay in my lane on what I do well. I have no plans right now to enter acting again” – Jason Aldean, Taste of Country Nights.
The host pushed Jason further, asking if he would turn down the role of 007 or Indiana Jones if offered. “Yeah, I don’t think that’s gonna happen,” the singer replied.
However, there is one thing that could get him back in front of the camera. Or one person, rather. “If I had a chance to act with Clint Eastwood, I might take him up on that because he’s my dude,” Jason Aldean told radio listeners.
