Country music superstar Garth Brooks made the shocking announcement that one part of his career is over. It’s truly the end of an era. Keep reading to find out what’s going on.

Legendary Singer Inducted To Another Hall Of Fame

Garth Brooks has already reached more milestones than most musicians have even dreamed of. He was inducted into the Country Hall Of Fame in 2012, a year after being invited into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2020, the singer received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Garth Brooks was among the honorees 2021 Kennedy Center Honors, along with Dick Van Dyke, violinist Midori,  Joan Baez, and actress Debbie Allen.

And that’s not even getting to his countless music awards, including winning ACM Entertainer Of The Year seven times! But the “Friends In Love Places” singer is especially touched by the latest honor. He will join the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame in September. The induction comes weeks before the popular show kicks off its 50th season on September 28.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for September 5, 2024, at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Garth Brooks is expected to perform with his band. His wife and fellow country singer, Trisha Yearwood, was inducted into the ACL Hall of Fame last year. The “Much Too Young” singer took to Twitter to share his gratitude for the honor.

Country Superstar Garth Brooks Confirms End Of An Era

Garth Brooks shared some shocking news with his fans earlier this week about a huge part of his career is over. He revealed that his popular weekly series Inside Studio G is coming to an end. According to Country Now, the series will end in December.

The singer didn’t share why he chose to end the weekly Monday music series. Inside Studio G grew from humble beginnings. It premiered in 2016 on Facebook and SiriusXM. As its audience grew, the series moved to Garth Brooks’ website and the Garth Brooks Channel on the TuneIn audio streaming service. The series gave fans an intimate look into Garth Brooks’ songwriting process. The singer chatted with fans and told stories about how some of his biggest hits came about. Trisha Yearwood even joined her husband occasionally throughout the last eight years.

But fans of the country singer shouldn’t worry that he plans to retire soon. His Las Vegas residency resumes in September and runs through the end of the year.
