The shocking truth about Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus’ feud has finally been revealed. It appeared that, once he started dating Firerose, who was not much older than Miley, things unraveled. Shocking Truth About Billy Ray & Miley Cyrus Feud Revealed
Since Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus in early 2022, things appeared to have fallen apart. Though this was the third time they filed, it was ultimately the last time. Yet, Miley Cyrus seemed to side with her mother whereas Billy Ray moved on with young, Australian musician Firerose. The two had known each other for around a decade and put out a decade in 2021. They soon were engaged and married by the end of 2023. As for Tish, she found love with Prison Break star Dominic Purcell who was allegedly dating her youngest daughter, Noah Cyrus first.
The rift between Miley and Billy Ray, who had been her rock for years, was even more noticeable when she won her first Grammy. She did not even mention him which fans felt was a direct jab at him. Then, he filed for an annulment from Firerose and claimed that she had kept him from his children. She has also maintained that he kept trapped like a prisoner so there’s a lot of he said/she said. In the end, where do Billy Ray and Miley truly stand?
According to The Sun, an insider shared that there was never a true estrangement between the two. More so, they have been speaking for some time now and it seems this whole thing has been blown out of proportion:
“Billy Ray and Miley are on good terms and have been for a long time. The truth is that Firerose kept him from communicating with his family, and she took over his social media and unfollowed people that he was following like his daughters, Lil Nas X, and so many other people in his life.”
It was noted that Firerose allegedly did “sabotage” the relationship Billy Ray had with his family. However, as for the extreme rift rumors, those had been exaggerated.
What About The Grammys?
Miley Cyrus did not acknowledge her father in her very first Grammy win which felt like a slap in the face. Yet, that was apparently not how she meant it. The insider shared “she wasn’t dissing him, even though everyone wanted to take it that way.” At the same time, Miley did say she got her “narcissism” from Billy Ray Cyrus so that did not help dispel any rift or estrangement rumors. Though they have allegedly maintained a decent relationship, that may have all changed as audio was leaked of Billy Ray saying horrid things about Tish Cyrus. There may have even been a diss toward Miley so the bond may be broken.
