Jelly Roll is backtracking by adding a fan-favorite song to his new album. He previously discussed what tracks would and would not make the cut. Of course, fans were not thrilled when they learned that “Liar,” which he had already performed live, would not make it. Now it appears that he has had a change of heart. Jelly Roll Backtracks, Adds Fan-Favorite To New Album
In late June 2024, Jelly Roll was talking about possible songs for his forthcoming album. He had written so many that he had no idea which ones would ultimately make the cut. One song that had already been performed live was “Liar.” Jelly performed it at the 2024 ACM Awards and it received rave reviews. It had amassed 663K views in just two months and fans loved the song so much, they could not help but leave a plethora of comments below:

All who saw this were ready for it to drop and then Jelly shared that he did not think “Liar” would make the album:
I don’t even know if we’re going to put ‘Liar’ out. I’m still on the fence about it.
That was not the news fans wanted to hear but it seems he has had a change of heart. Jelly has decided to add “Liar” to his new album. Moreover, it is now one of the lead singles as he has teased it in his live shows and at the Opry. Now, according to Rolling Stone, it will be featured along with “I Am Not Okay.” Additionally, there is a music video to accompany the single.
When Will The Album Drop?
As of now, the new album is anticipated to drop at the end of 2024. However, Jelly Roll has a jam-packed summer with his Beautifully Broken Tour beginning at the end of August.
