Thomas Rhett released his seventh studio album release last month. His wife, Lauren Akins, inspired many of the songs on “About a Woman.” The country crooner is in the middle of a tour to promote the new release. The singer is well-known for his high-energy live performances. The latest tour stop took him to Canada.
He posted several photos of the five-hour flight to Edmonton on his Instagram. Thomas Rhett recently made headlines for jumping into the crowd to save a concertgoer. He was labeled a hero by many. But his social media photos from the airplane sparked major backlash and a conversation about plane etiquette. What happened?
Thomas Rhett posed in different positions on the plane with wearing shoes or socks. Some fans were disgusted that he put his bare feet on the seat, even though it was a private jet.

He Responds
Not everyone was offended by Thomas Rhett’s bare feet and some defended him from the negative comments. Thomas Rhett saw the backlash and was mostly confused. “Y’all I had no clue what “dawgs” were. So I asked my 25 year old brother in law… feet.. got it☠️”
