Country music icon Miranda Lambert just released her eleventh studio album, Postcards from Texas. And, it’s a reflection of her entire music career, from it’s inception to now.
Miranda’s ‘Full Circle’ Album
Miranda recently explained the general timeline of a county music album. According to her, new albums are expected every two to three years. Which means most of the time, the songs reflect those few years in between each one.
This tracks because in Miranda’s case, most of her albums have come out within three years of each other. However, for Postcards from Texas, it’s a bit of a different story.
While it has been released within the three-year window of her previous album Palomino, it’s not based on the past few years of her life.
“Because I have had so much full circle happen lately, with turning 40 and a new record label, I felt new freedom,” Lambert shared. “So I think this record is kind of a snapshot of more like two decades, versus the last two years.”
Since she started her career back, it’s safe to say that this project encompasses her full journey. From the early beginnings, the lessons she’s made along the way, and how she feels now, it’s her own music documentary.
Miranda Lambert Fans Love Postcards From Texas
Since Miranda has released nearly a dozen albums, there’s some tough competition against Postcards from Texas. But, it seems as though fans already think it’s one of her best yet.

In the comments of the interview clip, fans raved about how much they enjoy the new project. Here are a few of the comments:

Miranda hasn’t announced whether or not she plans on taking the album on the road. Yet, it’s clear that fans would be down to see her perform this one on tour.
Miranda’s Vulnerable Music
When it comes to her music, Miranda has made it clear that she doesn’t just make it for herself. She recently opened up about how her fans have always connected to her music, which encourages her to continue to be vulnerable.
“Whatever the story I was telling, it was their story too,” Lambert shared. “And it’s like okay, I’m going to keep doing that then. Because you’re validating, I’m not in this alone and neither are you. Let’s do it together.”
The country star also shared that she now embraces hard times when they come. In her eyes, everything, whether it be good or bad, happens for a reason.
