Hardy recently made a controversial statement when opening for Morgan Wallen at his concert. Hardy has been opening for Morgan a lot. However, this time, he felt the need to say something that some fans might find offensive. Regardless, he did not care who it upset and wanted to get his point of view out there. Hardy And His Talent
Hardy has been doing a great job lately. However, fans do not realize that he was in the country music world long before his singing became famous. The country music artist was a great writer before he started singing. He has written several famous songs for famous artists. He has written for artists like Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, and so many more. One of his most famous songs is “God’s Country” which is sung by Blake Shelton. However, Hardy has made it a point to sing it during his set.
His Controversial Statement
When he was opening the show by singing “God’s Country”, he made a controversial statement.
“If you don’t like living here, go f***ing live somewhere else motherf****r. Especially this year with all the crazy sh*t going on, I see a lot of people posting and talking sh*t about living in the United States of America and being a United States citizen. And to that I say, f*ck you. If you don’t like living here, go f***ing live somewhere else motherf****r. The United States is the greatest country on this planet, period… I’m damn proud to live in this country, I’m damn proud of it. We’ve got people that work their f***in’ a** off every day of their life, put their life on the f***ing line so we can go to concerts in Neyland Stadium… and that’s a country I like to call ‘God’s Country.’”
He made his point. The crowd cheered when he was saying this. However, some people may be upset. Regardless, this is Hardy’s opinion and point of view on things. He will not apologize for feeling the way he does. Did you think this was a correct statement? Or did you disagree?
