Sadly, a famed country singer just experienced a devastating loss, which they shared with their fans and followers. It was so heartbreaking, especially the way that they broke the news, that prayers immediately poured in.
Grammy nominee Jo Dee Messina announced that her beloved father, Vincent Messina, passed away. He had just turned ninety-four in November and died on January 23rd, 2026. In a sweet video, Jo Dee shared a clip of Vincent singing, and it showed just how much life he had in him. All she asked of her father was that he give her mother a hug for her. Mary Messina passed away in April 2020, and that was a devastating time for the singer. Now, Vincent and Mary have reunited, and that has somewhat been reassuring for the country superstar.

After Jo Dee Messina’s fans learned of the sad death, they immediately sent their condolences to the Framingham, Massachusetts native.
