People reports all the details on Dolly Parton’s latest partnership. It goes without saying, that Parton keeps herself busy. Not only did she help fund the Moderna vaccine, but she won a Grammy.
Earlier this week, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream shares the news of their latest partnership. They take to Twitter to share the news. Their post features a beautiful cartoon depiction of Dolly Parton. In the image are the words “Specially made for Dolly Parton.” The caption gives a few more details. It reads, “Jeni’s x @Dolly Parton. Benefitting @dollyslibrary. COMING SOON.”

About Imagination Library
As Country Music Alley previously reports, Imagination Library delivers books to children up to age 5. Dolly Parton founded Imagination Library in 1995. In an interview, Parton recalls the initial efforts. “We just started this in my home county. If we’re lucky, it might go a couple of counties over.”
It’s safe to say that Dolly Parton is more than lucky when it comes to the success of Imagination Library. Currently, the Dollywood Foundation (and team) distributes books to 1.8 million children. Notably, books go across the US, Canada, the UK, the Republic of Ireland, and Australia. Country Music Alley reports “as of February 2021, the number is 155 million” books distributed.
Dolly Parton is in the ice cream business
Getting back to icecream, there currently isn’t any word on what unique flavor will benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. However, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream has flavors like Everything Bagel. According to reports, it even has onions and garlic in it. The flavor description of this pint is, “buttery streusel laden with sesame, poppy seeds- and yes, onions and garlic- woven throughout subtly sweet cream cheese ice cream. Acceptable to enjoy at any time of the day.” Jeni’s describes this flavor as “the flavor you never knew you wanted.”

Other notable Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream flavors include Coffee with Cream & Sugar, Honey Vanilla Bean, Skillet Cinnamon Roll, and Wildberry Lavender. With such a wide variety of flavors to currently chose from, it is hard to even guess what flavor they will come up with to benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
