Chrisley Knows Best patriarch, Todd Chrisley seems like he’s always ready for a challenge. What some fans may not know that is at one time, Todd Chrisley seems to actively pursue country music. Not only that, but the real estate mogul worked with some pretty famous names in country music. So, what happened to Todd Chrisley’s country music career? Keep reading to find out.
Todd Chrisley recorded a country song in 2016
In 2016, Todd Chrisley records his country song “Infinite Love” with country songstress, Sara Evans. While Todd is known to play pranks on people, it wasn’t the case with “Infinite Love.” Even if Todd recorded the song as a joke, fans loved it. So much so that the single made the Billboard charts.
Interestingly enough, Todd didn’t get into the country music business for himself. Todd wrote “Infinite Love” for his wife, Julie Chrisley. One Country reports at the time that “[Todd’s] tenor voice blends perfectly with Evans’ strong vocals in the chorus.” Not only that but “the harmonies are very nice and appealing.”
Notably, Sara Evans isn’t the only country star that Todd rubs elbows with. In recent Instagram posts, followers may see the Chrisleys hanging out with a third of the Rascal Flats, Jay Demarcus. From reports, it seems like Jay is taking a page out of Todd’s book. This is because Todd produces Jay’s Netflix series, DeMarcus Family Rules.
Other Chrisley country connections
Todd Chrisley’s connection to the country music industry doesn’t stop there. Country Music Alley recently reports that Todd is filming a new show with Luke Bryan’s wife, Caroline. The concept of the show is that Todd and Caroline prank a celebrity. “And then, when we prank that person, that person becomes our accomplice to prank someone in their phone,” share Todd on his podcast Chrisley Confessions. Todd doesn’t disclose names about who they’re going to prank first, but he does say “major Country artist” a couple of times.
Lastly, Todd Chrisley and his family have been friends with country songstress, Raelynn for a long time. As a testament to how close Raelynn is with the Chrisleys when she lost her dog, Todd Chrisley offered up the reward money for her pup’s safe return. Savannah and Julie Chrisley recently hosted a beautiful baby shower for Raelynn.
