Carrie Underwood was recently pressured by her seventy-four-year-old mother to get matching tattoos. How exactly did this end up happening and more so, what did the ladies get inked on them? Carrie Underwood Pressured By Mom, 74, To Get Matching Tattoos
It seems like Carrie Underwood’s mother, Carole is just as much fun as she is. Carrie has a sparkle and light that fans really seem to appreciate, something that she had since her time on American Idol. She just finished up her residency in Las Vegas and will head out on tour at the end of July. Then, she will return to Vegas as she had a blast performing in front of packed and lively crowds every night. Yet, as Carrie was saying goodbye to Vegas, her mother came up with a brilliant idea. She suggested that they get matching tattoos.
Now, Carrie Underwood is no stranger to getting inked as she has three already. The mother of two has a four-leaf clover, a black cat, and a cross. It seemed like it was time to add another, as she shared the story on Instagram: “When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, “what?” and “where?” I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink! 😂❤️ #WhatHappensInVegas. Thanks, @darekriley for being so sweet to the Underwood girls! ❤️”
So, the big question is what did Carrie, her sisters, and Carole end up getting? They opted for matching hearts with Carrie and one sister getting theirs on their foot. Carole and another sister went for the wrist and they ended up posing with them at the end of the session. It came out so great and is such an amazing memory for the women and of Carrie Underwood’s time in Las Vegas. Looks like Carole had a smart idea and fans really agreed.

Of course, Carrie Underwood’s followers loved this sweet family moment. They immediately took to her comment section to share their thoughts. “Well this is freakin awesome 🙌,” one wrote. Another added: “Wow! Your mom looks so young. Beautiful! U all hit the DNA LOTTERY! Sounds like u all have such a beautiful relationship ❤️.” Even American Idol chimed in with three blue hearts. It will be fascinating to see what Carole’s next big idea will be.
