Jason Aldean has been dealing with a lot of backlash over his recent country music video for “Try That In A Small Town.” Aldean is receiving support and hate both for his choice of lyrics and music video. Now, the steakhouse owned by Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean’s families is speaking out against CMT.

Jason Aldean’s recent music video for “Try That In A Small Town” has upset a lot of people. They feel like this song is racist and that the video is “pro-lyncing.” Jason actually spoke out saying that this isn’t the case at all. You can read his statement below.
Rumors also flew that Luke Bryan had pulled all of his music from CMT. That wasn’t the case, but it does look like Luke is standing by Jason in another way. Keep reading to get the details.
E3 Chophouse Nashville Shares Their Stance
If you check out the website of E3 Chophouse Nashville, it says that it is “owned by the families of Adam LaRoche, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. Through their common interest in Buck Commander, which is filmed at E3 Ranch, the team became friends and ultimately shared meals at E3 Chophouse in Steamboat Springs. This led to discussions about – and ultimately plans for – an E3 Chophouse in Nashville.”
They also donate money to great causes. The site states, “10% of all net profits of E3 Chophouses go to the E3 Ranch Foundation, which serves combat Veterans, fights against human trafficking, and provides support during humanitarian crises globally.”
This restaurant is standing with Jason Aldean during the controversy and they are not playing CMT anymore. They went to their Facebook page to share the news saying:
“We stand with Jason! E3 supports the small town because that is who we are! We will not air CMT at any of our restaurants until a formal apology is made and Jason’s music video is reinstated.”
Jason Aldean’s song may not be playing on CMT anymore, but it is now #1 on iTunes showing that some people do agree with his song. Aldean explained that it is simply meant about the way that people stick up for each other in a small town. Jason did not write the song or choose the location of the music video shoot.
