Zach Bryan Wins Big At The Grammys
Music listeners are still buzzing over Luke Combs’s performance with Tracy Chapman at the Grammys, however, fellow country star Zach Bryan is the one who took home some hardware on music’s biggest night. Zach Bryan secured the win for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his collaboration with Kacey Musgraves, I Remember Everything.
Zach Bryan beat out some heavy hitters to secure the trophy at this year’s Grammy ceremony. A frontrunner in the same category was Carly Pearce and her collaboration with Chris Stapleton, We Don’t Fight Anymore. This was also Zach Bryan’s first Grammy out of all the times he has been nominated in the past. So, this was definitely a big win for him.
Bryan Wins Big, Crosses A Major Milestone
Flying high off of his first Grammy win, Zach Bryan has something else he can add to his personal win column. Bryan told his many listeners that he has been “emotional” for several reasons this week. One of them is that his album, the self-titled 2023 release, Zach Bryan, went platinum.
To reach platinum status, an album needs to sell at least one million copies, an impressive feat by any stretch. This win, more than anything, is giving Zach Bryan time to reflect on who he is and how far he has come. It’s this exact authenticity from him that resonates with his listeners, and pours out of every note he sings and chord he strums.
Grammy Winner And Platinum Artist Reflects On How Far He Has Come
Bryan recently told his fans: “We made a damn album in an air bnb and now the boys and me have stadium shows across the country and quite a few platinum records (not to be arrogant just saying it because we’re all idiots and it’s mind numbing.”
Despite his success, Bryan still sees himself as the middle-class Oklahoma country boy that he grew up as. He remembers the lessons that his grandfather taught him, and even now, he is very in touch with his roots. This is exactly the thing that fans love about him, and many agree that he deserves all the rewards he is reaping now.
