She Got Hitched!
Country singer and American Idol finalist Lauren Alaina finally got hitched on February 4th to her man Cam Arnold. Lauren and Cam tied the knot in front of 450 friends and family in a beautiful Nashville ceremony. The groom walked the aisle to an instrumental rendition of Brooks and Dunn’s “Neon Moon”. The bride walked to a song she wrote for Arnold called “Breaking Up With Single”. How precious is that? Arnold and Alaina have been together since 2020 when they met at Luke Bryan’s annual concert vacation and she gave him her number. Surprisingly, Kane Brown was not among that 450 count of wedding guests!

Long-Time Friends
Alaina and Brown have been friends for almost two decades! They met at Lakeview Middle School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia in choir class and are still close friends to this day. From Music Mayhem Magazine, “We genuinely want each other to do well,” Alaina previously explained in a press conference.” Aww!! She embarrassed him and made him sing in front of the teacher apparently and they have been friends since. Alaina went on to American Idol and became the runner-up on Season 10! One of her biggest hits, “What Ifs” was with her middle school choir buddy Kane! Kane Brown had a hard childhood, but thanks to supportive family, grew up to be one of the most well-known names in country music. Hits like “Heaven”, “Lose It”, and “Thank God” (featuring his wife Katelyn), have solidified him as a true country artist.
So why didn’t he go to her wedding if they’ve been friends for so long??
He Got The Snip
Kane couldn’t attend his friend’s wedding because he was getting a vasectomy! Yup! Looks like Kane and Katelyn are done with kiddos after number 3 arrives this year! The Brown family announced back in December that they are expecting, and recently disclosed it will be a little boy! With two little girls already, Kingsley and Kodi, this will be a new adventure as a family of five! He probably would have rather been at the wedding, because, as Kane told the Big D & Bubba podcast on Instagram: “I was laying on my back, high as a kite, the nurse and the doctor just standing over me. I’m spread eagle, and they’re just talking about their day,” Brown recalled. The procedure was one of the most “awkward situation” of his life, according to the “I Can Feel It” singer.”
Not a fun day I’m sure. Ha! Well in addition to the family’s “new addition”, Kane and Katelyn are also putting out another duet together! Man, these two stay busy!
