Keith’s daughter, Krystal Keith, delivered an emotional message to fans prior to the stadium singing along. She said, “The only thing my dad loved more than crimson and cream and The University of Oklahoma was his Red, White and Blue, y’all sing this along with us, please!” The fans heard Krystal Keith loud and clear because they seemingly made the stadium shake as each person in the 83,000-sized crowd belted out the lyrics. The Keith family was brought to tears, as this meant the world to them.
