Wynonna Judd’s daughter is in hot water all over again as she has hijacked a church van leading her to get arrested. Grace Kelley, 28, is currently facing seven charges but this is nothing new for the icon’s daughter. So, what are the charges and how did this all go down? Keep reading for more details.
Wynonna Judd’s Daughter Hijacks Church Van
It has been a disastrous few years for Wynonna Judd. Her mother, Naomi Judd long battled mental illness but she and Wynonna were set to head out on tour. They had long been known as The Judds but had not toured in years. Then, they announced that they were headed back out. Tragically, Naomi took her own life in April 2022 and the tour could have been called off. However, Wynonna decided to embark on her own. She added a few of her favorites from the country world and it was extremely successful.
As heartbroken and devastated as she was over Naomi, Wynonna had other things to deal with. Her daughter, Grace Kelley was struggling as she had been arrested for indecent exposure and prostitution in early 2024. A short time later, she was arrested again for fleeing from a cop, driving with a suspended/revoked license, and failing to properly use a motorcycle. Now, according to People, Grace is back in trouble and back behind bars. On Sunday, October 27th, Grace was arrested in Albemarle County, Virginia. She faces seven charges, three of them being felony grand larceny.
Furthermore, Grace Kelley was charged with driving without a license, destruction of property with intent, failure to use headlights, and setting in motion a vehicle with intent to commit a crime. This all started when Wynonna’s daughter stole a van from Ground Zero Church. It was totaled and now, the church has set up a GoFundMe in an attempt to get a new one. They shared the story of what happened there:
On October 27th, our green church van and trailer were stolen from in front of our pastor’s home by Grace Pauline Kelley. Grace is currently in police custody. The van was damaged during the theft and after being inspected by a body shop, the insurance has determined it to be a total loss.
Forgiveness For Grace
The church has found it in themselves to forgive Grace Kelley but this may be too much for Wynonna Judd to take. She is currently raising her granddaughter, Kaliyah while Grace tries to get her life on track. Unfortunately, it does not appear that she is taking it all that seriously. Grace’s current status is unknown and Wynonna is not speaking out about the events that occurred. The holidays have not been the same since her mother passed and this undoubtedly just makes it harder. Hopefully, Grace can get the help she needs so Wynonna does not have to worry any longer about her loved ones.
