Tim McGraw Teams Up With Reba McEntire & Jelly Roll For Special Event
Tim McGraw will go under the knife soon. But first, he’s bringing the rodeo to Nashville. He’s slated to headline the Music City Rodeo in May. Reba McEntire and Jelly Roll are also expected to perform at the event.
According to the local Nashville news, the rodeo is the first-ever rodeo held in the city of Nashville. Fans can watch the exciting event at the Bridgestone Arena. In addition to musical performances, it will feature rodeo events such as roping and barrel races.

He Had To Drop Out Of Netflix Show After Injury
Tim McGraw was forced to cancel some of his Standing Room Only tour last year after an injury. His representative revealed that the singer had a double knee surgery in August 2024 after an injury on stage.
Deadline reported in January that Tim McGraw was injured again. But this time, it was his back. Unfortunately, the injury made him withdraw from an upcoming Netflix series he was slated to star in.
As fans know, Tim McGraw previously dabbled in acting before starring in the Yellowstone limited series 1883. He starred alongside his wife of nearly three decades, Faith Hill.
The untitled Netflix series was a rodeo drama still in development. However, Tim McGraw had to bow out because it was too physically demanding.
Country Star Preps For Grueling Surgery
According to reports, Tim McGraw will undergo back surgery sometime this year and likely sooner rather than later. Closer magazine reports that other country stars are showing support for the “Don’t Take The Girl” singer.
“He’s got a long road ahead, the recovery will be excruciating, but he has the support of so many people in his corner and that means the world to him,” a source close to the singer told the outlet. But Tim McGraw doesn’t have to go through it alone.
“People like Kenny Chesney, Lionel Richie, Tracy Lawrence and Randy Travis and others are offering to help him and the family any way they can,” the insider added.
And of course, he’ll have his wife and three daughters there for support. “Tim’s got Faith, of course. She’s rode with him through all the hills and valleys. All those years of abusing his body with alcohol and junk food may have done damage, but Tim’s been sober for almost 20 years and he’s been working out in the gym every day, so that counts for something.” the source revealed.
Despite his health struggles, the singer is eager to get back on stage. He assured fans on social media that he hadn’t forgotten them. A video clip showed him interacting with his fans over the several decades of his career. He also released a new single, “Paper Umbrellas,” featuring Parker McCollum.
Hopefully Tim McGraw will be back on stage after a swift recovery from surgery.
